DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
My focus in Design Development is an emphasis on what context the building will be for the community it is in. Buildings are social machines, thus they must serve the people who use them over all else.
PROJECT INCEPTION
From Design Development, the concept of the building, the Project Inception, takes form. The plan for a building must take into account the people who reside in the building, the social and physical context of the people, and the style of the space around the building.
SCHEMATIC DESIGN
I also have experience in Schematic Design, including Construction Documentation. I have combined and matched architectural documents with structural and MEP documents, and have made design details for wood frame buildings such as homes.
