Light and Light: Urban Reuse in South Chicago

Located in at the old US Steel foundry in the South Works Neighborhood in Chicago, this urban renewal project intended to create a spearhead development for the area.
Focusing on adding work, education, and produce in a food desert, this project contains a museum, an urban farm, and a community college. These buildings are linked by multiple gardens and parks. Green energy is produced from multiple solar banks and a wind farm.
