Nested Healing

Located deep in Tennessee’s Southern Appalachian Mountains, this rural clinic is focused around women’s health and mental health. Taking advantage of the views of the Ocoee river, and promoting a community based-approach to healing, this complex includes an urgent care and outpatient building, an inpatient anti ligature space and community center, and individual cabins of varying privacy to encourage healing at one’s own pace and shelter for battered women in the area.
